Service Description: Parcels depicted were identified based on information from Sarasota County Utilities billing data, Sarasota County Property Appraiser Property data, Englewood Water District sewer service availability and the Florida Water Management Inventory that includes DOH septic system permitting records. Data analysis was focused on Sarasota County Utilities Franchise, EWD and City of North Port areas since service availability data was available from these providers. City of Venice, City of Sarasota and Town of Longboat Key data relies mostly on the accuracy of the DOH data and removing any likely/known septic parcel from their selection that had no year built in the Sarasota County Property Appraiser data.
EPA TMDL data is from Impaired_Waters layer ID 9, via the FDEPOpenDataPortal.
