            <statement>Layer was downloaded as a shapefile by ITOS from an email sent by the IMO. It was then analyzed by ITOS for errors. The geometry was updated by cleaning its attributes and topology. The layer was sent back to UNOCHA as a feature class within a file geodatabase.

The following errors were found and fixed by ITOS:

1. Populated Admin0 name field with UN Short Name "Sudan (the)".
2. Created and populated reference name field.
3. Fixed multipart sliver errors in Admin2 units "Hala'ib" and "Gereida".</statement>
