Service Description: Location of proposed Fall 2021 Taylor's Checkerspot habitat enhancement locations. The goal of these enhancement areas is to focus restoration action in smaller footprints that expand already existing habitat patches to improve habitat. We used PHM data on host species density and average number of nectar species to predict general habitat quality. Cells with greater predicted host patch density and more nectar species are more suitable. We weighted cells by host patch density (0.6) and then nectar richness (0.4). We used Emperical Bayesian Kriging to predict cell values.
