Description:

Approximate places where we need enhanced crosswalks. These are within 300 feet of a common pedestrian destination (bus stop, parks, schools, grocery stores, library, post offices, hospitals) and have been scored for the Transportation Master Plan based on the number of lanes, speeds, and volumes of the street.

Where we had speed data in the last 7 years, we used the 85th percentile speed (ActualSpeed). Where we did not, we used the posted speed limit.

Where we had volumes data in the 7 years, we used it (AADTActual). Where we did not, we used volumes from the 2015 model (ModelAADT). Where those volumes were not reliable, we used synthetic AADT (SynthAADT). On occasion, those numbers were multiplied by 1000 to convert ADT to AADT (ExtAADT) in order to calculate the overall score for AADT.
