ABSTRACT:

Benchmarks are used in land surveying to extablish well known control points of elevation, latitude, and longitude with which to survey surrounding land. The benchmarks in this feature class represent bechmarks used and established by the City of Victorville Engineering Department.

PURPOSE:

This data is intended for geographic display and analysis at the local government level. This data should be displayed and analyzed at scales appropriate for 1:100,000 scale data. No responsibility is assumed by the City of Victorville for the use of this data.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

These points are a reprentation of reality and are for visual display only. Data users should not use the point found herein for actual land surveys.
