Description:

Feature class was digitized referencing Land Corner Monuments index and corresponding documentation scanned for each township/range/section in Koochiching County (U:\CornerCerts\...) in May 2018. Coordinate system is NAD 1983 HARN Adj MN Koochiching (US Feet) County Coordinates. Maintenance and update frequency is quarterly - recorded documents reviewed, corners moved to exact coordinates found in the certificates if available. Individual users will need to activate the hyperlink feature on this feature class (Right click on Feature Class>Properties>Display tab>Check box "Support Hyperlinks using field: Image" Intended for INTERNAL USE ONLY.

Origination notes: during December 2018, any corner points were either moved to coordinates found within survey documentation in same U:\CornerCerts\ directory or snapped to confirmed points in other layers (listed in hierarchical order and based upon most recent date within rank):
