Service Description: Railroads within Mobile County - Mobile County, Alabama requires accurate data to effectively plan and manage county infrastructure. This dataset was developed to support those efforts for Mobile County. The Mobile County project area is approximately 1402 square miles. The project scope of work required the acquisition and processing of digital imagery (2014) in support of the development of digital color orthophotography at a six inch pixel resolution. All deliverables were required to meet or exceed ASPRS Class II Standards for 1”=100’ or 1" = 200' scale planimetric mapping. Railroads outside Mobile County - US Census TIGER data.

Sidewalks - outside edges for incorporated areas; centerline for unincorporated areas

Updates were performed by comparing the current features with three inch resolution ortho-rectified aerial imagery collected in 2019 for the eastern half of the County and in 2020 for the western half of the County. Digital imagery acquisition was completed between 16th January through 13th February, 2019, and 4th February through 7th March, 2020. Imagery for the planimetric updates was shared by the Mobile County Revenue Commission.
