Service Description: Here are the reports of plausible artificial barriers from The Big River Watch 2023 - 2025 that are not in the River Obstacles dataset.
They have been derived by filtering for within a distance of the Open River Network and not within a distance of know obstacles. There are two classifications: "Yes" - where aerial imagery shows something in the river that could be an obstacle near the BRW survey, "Not Visible" - where the water course is obstructed and a barrier report could not be validated through aerial imagery.
Any barriers will need to be validated on the ground before they can be added to the River Obstacles dataset.
