Mudspotter (FeatureServer)

View In:   Map Viewer

Service Description: Mud Spotter is a citizen science tool developed with Queen Mary University of London to monitor and map sources of fine sediment (mud) entering rivers, particularly after rainfall. By enabling volunteers and professionals to record mud inputs from sources like ditches, pipes, and eroding banks, it helps address ecological damage caused by excess sediment. Data collected supports water quality investigations and is uploaded via the Cartographer app following basic training.
