This polyline feature contains geographic and attribute information for the purposes of depicting the location of street centerline pavement overlays (by year) within the City of SeaTac, Washington. Specifically, this dataset is designed to work in conjunction with street centerlines and holds pavement overlay information for roadways. By maintaining this information in a separate line dataset, pavement overlays may be mapped in a way that more accurately reflects ground conditions without requiring the street segment (asset) lines to be split unnecessarily. The spatial relationship between these features can then be maintained using topology rules. The data has been created from a number of sources and is updated on an as needed basis.

This dataset is used for:

• Tracking where overlay projects have occurred

• Displaying streets which have been overlaid within the past 5 years (Street Overlay Moratorium Areas)
