Harris County Public Health (HCPH) becomes aware of any change in status. Boiling Water Notice status is indicated in the field 'ActiveBWN', an Active Boiling Water Notice has a value of BWN, while a rescinded Boiling Water Notice has a value of R, blank values indicate the water system did not issue a boiling water notice. While every effort is being made to ensure the map is as accurate as
possible, inaccuracies may result from a communication lag between local
water districts and HCPH or any disconnect between reported and actualized jurisdictional boundaries.
