Description: This layer was created using the shoreline of the 10-minute grids (v3 2018), with divisions between the Great Lakes and connecting channels based off of:Descriptions in the 2000 Consent Decree for the boundary between the St. Marys River and Lakes Huron and Superior, and between Lakes Michigan and Huron.Descriptions in the Michigan Fishing Guide 2016-2017 for the boundary in Michigan waters between the Detroit River and Lakes Erie and St. Clair, AND the boundary in Michigan waters between the St. Clair River and the Lake Huron.Boundaries in the 1:24,000 National Hydrography Dataset (downloaded 2012) for the boundary in Michigan waters between Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair River.Descriptions in the Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations 2017, Zone 19 for the boundary in Canadian waters between the St. Clair River and Lakes Huron and St. Clair, Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair and Detroit Rivers, the Detroit River and Lakes St. Clair and Erie.
