Description:

This dataset represents a single point-location for each recorded address in the LGDC region, to the unit-level.

Address points were initially created in 1975-1976 as part of a rural re-addressing project which combined: newly digitized addresses, Lane County Assessment & Taxation owner name/address records, and Lane County Elections voter addresses. The dataset was developed to replace the old rural route addressing system used for postal service in Lane County until 1974.
