Description: Spatial fire model run of the Woodtick Fire, July and August 2022. Short term fire behavior analysis modeling of the Woodtick fire spread.
Modelled using the intense heat spatial data that was depicted on the IR interpretation for 7/25 and restricted the modeled fire spread from spreading to already burned areas. Let the fire model spatially spread for 3 days elsewhere with a strong west wind and mid-August type fuels and weather conditions. This is the resulting fire spread paths (major paths) based on fuels and topography.
