Description:

Locations points of Chatham County Historical Mills on the Haw River, Deep River, Cape Fear River, Rocky River and Tributaries. Points were plotted from old descriptions by Thomas Charles and Louise Bippart Hobbs members of the Historical Society.

Data was imported into Chatham County SQL database in March 2017. Data editing and maintenance to be conducted as needed coordinated by the Chatham County GIS Department in conjunction with the Chatham County Historical Society.
