Hosted feature service containing data relevant to water district areas in Chatham County, NC. The water district information is utilized to report information to the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) as it relates to General Obligation (GO) debt for special districts in Chatham County. In the past the GIS department has utilized this data to provide the necessary reporting information to the Chatham County Finance Department required annually by the SEC. The GIS department is publishing the data to ArcGIS Online as a hosted feature service in February 2020 at the request of the finance department to aid them in auditing addresses in the water billing system. This data needs to be updated on an annual basis with the current parcel information for purposes of calculating total assessed value of the specified reporting area. The parcel data should be derived using archived parcel data from January 1st of the current reporting year.
