This layer tracks schools and school administrative buildings that have received funding from the School Energy Efficiency Stimulus (SEES) Program. This layer is updated annually by CEC STEP GIS. This data was last updated February 2021. 

Low income field was populated via data at:  SB 535 Disadvantaged Communities and AB 1550 Low-income Communities (CARB), 2016 (arcgis.com) 

The disadvantaged community field was populated from CalEnviroScreen 3.0 Results (June 2018 Update) (arcgis.com)

The SEES GIS Analysis Map Tool (Tool) is available for informational purposes only and shall not to be used for SEES eligibility screening, determinations, or claims thereof.  It has been created by the California Energy Commission (CEC) based on publicly available data.  The CEC does not guarantee the accuracy of the Tool or data contained therein and is not responsible for any misuse or misrepresentation of the Tool or data contained therein.  All SEES program eligibility determinations will be made by CEC pursuant to applicable program requirements, including program guidelines.
