Description: <div style="text-align:Left;"><div><div><p style="margin:0 0 8 4;"><span>The 52 congressional districts within the State of California represent the geographically defined territories used for electing members to the U.S. House of Representatives. </span><span style="background-color:rgb(248,248,248); color:rgb(76,76,76); font-family:"Public Sans", "Avenir Next"; font-size:16px;"><span style="display:inline !important; float:none; font-style:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; text-align:start; text-decoration-color:initial; text-decoration-style:initial; text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; word-spacing:0px;">The boundaries were created under Assembly Bill 604 and certified by the California voters under Proposition 50. These districts will take effect in January 2027 and will remain effect for sitting Congressmembers through 2032. Congressional elections in 2026 will use these districts while Congressional elections in 2032 will use districts newly drawn by the Citizens' Redistricting Commission.</span></span></p><p> </p></div></div></div>
