Description: Source: One Bay Area Grant (OBAG 2), MTC Resolution No. 4202 (https://mtc.ca.gov/our-work/fund-invest/federal-funding/obag-2)
Background: MTC distributes the Bay Area’s share of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funding through its One Bay Grant Program (OBAG). The OBAG program is divided into a regional program, managed by MTC, and a county program, managed by the nine Bay Area County Transportation Agencies (CTAs). Cities and counties can use OBAG 2 County Program funds to invest in local streets and roads, complete streets, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, safe routes to school, streetscape enhancements, and transit. Projects selected for funding through the OBAG 2 County Program have been mapped to allow for public exploration of these local transportation investments.
