Service Description: Regionally identified PCAs complement local PCA nominations. Unlike the eligibility maps which have high coverage, the regionally-identified PCAs focus more narrowly in areas that are regionally-significant or regionally-connective. The regionally-identified PCA layers will be treated the same as locally nominated PCAs when used for regional planning efforts. This dataset indicates areas that meet the threshold for Regionally-Identified Urban Greening (UG) PCAs.

Description:

The data layer that provides priority areas for the regionally-identified Urban Greening PCAs. A subset of the Urban Greening indicators was selected and combined to create this layer. The data layer is the intersection of any area eligible for Urban Greening objectives 1, 2, or 3 that within an Equity Priority Community.

Regionally-Identified Urban Greening PCAs Objectives:

Regionally-Identified Urban Greening PCAs emphasize opportunities in Equity Priority Communities where weaving more natural infrastructure can bring the benefits of nature directly to more communities.
