Description: This dataset contains livelihood zones for Somalia. The map has been prepared for Somalia Government, Humanitarian partners and Donors lead by FSNAU (a Multi donor project managed FAO Somalia) and FEWSNET (US-AID funded project)That fewer zones would better match the current monitoring capacities and needs of the concerned partners, notably of the new government, while still maintaining a division of the country that reflected the important local differences in livelihoods.Need to reflect on the changes in the economy over time, where reduction in the previous differences between some zones invited consideration of merging.
