Description: Esta capa presenta un inventario de jagüeyes identificados utilizando imágenes satelitales y luego revisados por un actor local experto en La Guajira. Cada jagüey se identificó y se verificó manualmente, punto por punto utilizando fotografías satelitales de Google Maps, Bing y ESRI.En una primera fase, el equipo de Tufts University (Sophie Lehrenbaum, Kristen Weller) usó imágenes de Google Earth para identificar los jagüeyes a través del análisis de las diferentes partes de La Guajira (Alta, Media y Baja). Se examinaron imágenes del departamento en su totalidad y se trazaron los puntos manualmente usando herramientas de Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG), con lo que posteriormente se realizó un mapa con datos de píxeles para representar cada Jagüey.En la segunda fase del proyecto, el equipo de SEI validó los 4720 puntos marcados como “Jagüeyes” en la primera fase. En primer lugar, se desarrolló una visita de campo para recolectar información sobre la diversidad de formas y atributos de los jagüeyes, de manera que el análisis de imágenes satelitales pudieran tener en cuenta estas variaciones. Asimismo, se contó con la experiencia y conocimiento del territorio de uno de los investigadores del equipo de SEI, un habitante de La Guajira miembro del pueblo Wayuu, quien combinó su familiaridad con los jagüeyes con el análisis de imágenes satelitales para la validación de los datos.Además, este dataset contiene jagüeyes identificados por las empresas durante las Evaluaciones de Impacto Ambiental. Esos puntos están identificados por el prefijo "EIA_" en la columna Id.

Description: Conjunto de puntos de las turbinas de viento de los proyectos de generación eólica en La Guajira. Este conjunto de datos se generó por los investigadores de Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) a partir de la recopilación de datos de las resoluciones de licencia ambiental y de los expedientes de la evaluación de impacto ambiental de cada proyecto. Estos datos fueron solicitados a la Agencia Nacional de Licencias Ambientales (ANLA) y a la Corporación Autónoma de La Guajira (Corpoguajira). Debido a que cada evaluación de impacto ambiental se elaboró por diferentes consultoras, los datos originales varían respecto a la cantidad de columnas y la información que contienen. Por ello, los investigadores de SEI limpiaron los datos utilizando software de Sistemas de Información Geográfica.

Description: Conjunto de polígonos de las áreas de influencia de los proyectos de generación eólica en La Guajira. Este conjunto de datos se generó por los investigadores de Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) a partir de la recopilación de datos de las resoluciones de licencia ambiental y de los expedientes de la evaluación de impacto ambiental de cada proyecto. Estos datos fueron solicitados a la Agencia Nacional de Licencias Ambientales (ANLA) y a la Corporación Autónoma de La Guajira (Corpoguajira). Debido a que cada evaluación de impacto ambiental se elaboró por diferentes consultoras, los datos originales varían respecto a la cantidad de columnas y la información que contienen. Por ello, los investigadores de SEI limpiaron los datos utilizando software de Sistemas de Información Geográfica.
