Service Description: The purpose of this feature class is to illustrate the location of water pump stations in public water systems in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as collected by Kentucky’s Area Development Districts and provided by the Kentucky Division of Water. The locations of water pump stations, along with the basic attribute data concerning those features, are used by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Area Development Districts, public water systems, and other state/local agencies for the purpose of water infrastructure planning and management, project development, asset inventories, capital improvement plans, data analysis, and for any other purpose that will improve the potable water infrastructure and service in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
