Description:

This dataset represents Skamania County zoning and comprehensive plan designations as administered by Skamania County Community Development Department, land use designations as administered by Columbia River Gorge Commission (for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area [CRGNSA]), and zoning designations as administered for the cities of Stevenson and North Bonneville. Skamania County administers zoning only for areas that fall outside of the incorporated cities and outside of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (CRGNSA), and also administers zoning for Urban Areas within the CRGNSA. Lands within the National Scenic Area have their own Land Use Designations (LUDs) that are administered by the Columbia River Gorge Commission. These areas are included in this comprehensive dataset, however it is recommended that the primary data be obtained from the source since edits to this data are outside of the control of Skamania County. All zoning data is provided without warranty. Users must check with the appropriate jurisdiction to obtain primary data and verify accuracy and currentness.
