Ambulatory surgical centers (facilities that perform specific procedures in an outpatient (non-hospital) setting)

Assisted living facilities (provide individualized health and personal care assistance in a homelike setting)

Critical access facilities (small, generally geographically remote facility that provides outpatient and inpatient hospital services to people in rural areas)

End stage renal dialysis facilities (outpatient facility where dialysis is given to people with end stage kidney disease)

Freestanding emergency rooms (a facility that is structurally separate and distinct from a hospital that receives an individual and provides emergency care)
