Description: In 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was made between the USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and multiple Commercial Forest Landowners with lands in California within the range of the California Spotted Owl, Northern Spotted Owl, and Pacific Fisher. The purpose of the MOU agreement is to coordinate on forest fuels reduction and species conservation issues.Parties to the MOU agreed to share map-based information on the location of fuel reduction projects and the general objectives of fuel reduction activities. As per subsequent discussions, this information is available through this consolidated dataset and supplemental web products.This "public" version of the dataset lumps data from the various Commercial Forest Landowners under a single "Private" category.
