Description: The HRMLeadBoundary layer is an outline of the area where lead service lines may have been installed prior to the moratorium on lead as a service line material in 1956. Domestic service lines within this boundary may be composed of lead. Service lines falling outside this boundary are assumed to be composed of a material other than lead. However, lead solder, brass, and brass fittings may have been used in domestic and commercial buildings up until 1986.
