Description:

On August 4th 2020, the province announced it would change the method of reporting COVID-19 cases, moving from six regions based on former Regional Health Authorities to thirteen zones based on Saskatchewan Health Authority geographies. The change was made to provide the public more specific information about where outbreaks are occurring. Case locations will now be broken down by far north west, far north central, far north east, north west, north central, north east, central west, central east, south west, south central, south east, Regina and Saskatoon.

The COVID-19 Zones are made by aggregating the COVID-19 Subzones, which are based on the SHA Health Networks or aggregations thereof.

Copyright Text: This boundary set is based on the Health Network boundaries created by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, with aggregations defined by the Ministry of Health.
