This service contains a host of feature layers that compose the Fisheries Geographic Framework. It was developed for use by the latest version of the Fisheries Division state-wide database. The hydrographic layers, FISHHydroFlowlines, FISHHydroPolygons, and FISHHydroGrids are custom snapshots of the final release of the USGS NDHPlus HR that are tailored to the needs of the division. However, the layers are useful for the entire department and provide common feature identifiers to link the data from different divisions together. 

New lakes and streams within these hydrographic layers will be continually added as needed and existing features can be edited to better match the environment and correct any errors.

NOTICE: this service is a temporary copy while an authoritative version is being added to the DNR GIS Production server. While this temporary copy should seamlessly translate to the authoritative version, small details may change (e.g., field names, new features, etc.). However, unique identifiers for each feature in the service will remain unchanged.
